Things to Do in Franschhoek

Franschhoek โ€“ 'French Corner' โ€“ was settled by French Huguenot refugees in the late 1680s, and their names still mark the valley's wine estates. The open-topper Franschhoek Wine Tram hops between vineyards on fixed routes, pouring tastings at each stop. Widely regarded as South Africa's food and wine capital, the town's Huguenot Monument honours its founders at the head of the valley.
